It’s a tough job but the grading committee have done it !!!
Here they are , the teams for our first 2023 pennant. Despite losing several players we have been able to retain the same number of teams as we did in the recent summer pennant – 22 teams.

PENNANT ONE: – 9pt / 1.50 Team average

Welcome back to Joel Thomas after a break in 2022 , Joel’s matches with Matt Ljubic will be a highlight of the season. After living away for a couple of years Liam Wood returns.
Congratulations to Paul Kealley on being promoted after an excellent summer pennant. Last but not least congratulations to Rohan Reimers on his return to pennant one. Many would not know that as a teenager Rohan played in pennant one , I’ll have to ask Rohan but it would be at least 18 years ago…good luck Rohan

Paul Keally makes his debut after a strong showing in P2 to share top honors in the Aggregate.

Liam Wood returns to P1 action after strong grading 3 form.

Rohan Reimers makes a return also after playing at the top level over ten years ago. Carried very strong form over 2022 season and grading.

Gavin Carmichael and Mark Dorman team up for the first time at Stta club level.

Joel Thomas and Lee Leeson reunite in another shot at a Pennant 1 title.

PENNANT TWO: – 9.85 / 1.64 Team average

The pennant two competition reverts to a 6 team pennant as it was last winter, 8 in summer. Josh Arnold comes in for his first pennant after filling in occasionally previously. Also welcome back to both Zac Galbraith and Tom Morrison who both have played in the past. A big welcome to Furqaan Ahmad who was previously here as a Monday night hitter a couple of years back.
Congratulations to youngster Jamie Kealley on being graded a number one in pennant two due to his excellent form last summer.
Jamie is one of our up and coming junior pennant players.

Ash Morrison returns to P2 action after a very tight cluster in P1 cut-off.

Zac Galbraith returns to Stta club level and could be anything by seasons end.

Jamie Kealley promoted to a number 1 at P2 level.

Furqaan Ahmad also debuts after moving into district for work.

The Kev and Terry show return for another crack at a P2 title.

PENNANT THREE: – 10.85 / 1.80 Team average

This looks to be a real balanced pennant , good luck to all. Welcome to new players Riley Clements , Gianluca Capizzoto , and also Steve Parker previously a fill in is in a team for the first time. Hamish Smyth has been promoted from P4 after remaining undefeated in singles in the summer pennant. Junior Koby Grace has also been promoted from P4. Welcome back to Nicole Hunt for her third stint with the STTA.

Sabrina Fitzpatrick and Karly Leach joins forces with Nicole Hunt in our first Girl Power side in some seasons.

Michael & Hamish Smyth join forces with Hamish making P3 debut after unbeaten P4 season.

Very strong list and balance between No1’s and No. 2’s in this Pennant 3.

Riley Clements, Koby Grace and Luca Capizotto debut in P3.

Nicole Hunt returns to district and also makes P3 debut.

Enjoy your time with the STTA. Also welcome back to Chelsey Avers for her first time in the seniors after playing in the juniors a few years back.

Super sub Gary Leach debuts at Stta Club level after filling in over Summer Comp.
