2011 VICTORIAN COUNTRY TABLE TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS “TOUR”

JUNE 11th, 12th, 13th (QUEENS BIRTHDAY WEEKEND)

PLAYERS INFORMATION SHEET

Congratulations on representing the Sunraysia Table Tennis association at the Annual Victorian Country Table Tennis Championships.

A 25 seat Bus has been hired from Benetook Autos to transport us to Melbourne.  As usual the Association will pay for the hire and fuel. Anthony Fox has indicated he is happy to come along as our driver as a light truck licence is required for the Bus due to its size. We appreciate Anthony taking on this role each year.

DEPARTURE

11.00AM SHARP Friday June 10th from John Duscher’s house at 1549 Deakin Avenue Mildura South. Please try and be early as possible to pack our gear and to ensure we get away on time. Because of the number of people travelling (20) please ensure you travel light particularly on the bus. There is a closed trailer available for our luggage. John has indicated that there is room to leave your car at his place if you wish.

If you have any problems getting there you can phone Gavin on 0408 237 907        (Leave this number at home as an emergency contact for your family/friends to contact you while away).

Breakfast packs are available for purchase, however if you have a particular preference for cereal or whatever it might be wise to bring this with you. Usually on Saturday evenings we have a meal together in one of our rooms. It would be appreciated if you could bring along a casserole or something similar to heat up for tea and discuss our days play. We’ll make sure there is an esky on the bus to transport the food. Of course if you want to do your own thing for meals that’s fine. .

 COST

The cost to each player is $150.00 and needs to be paid by Wednesday June 8th at the latest to Wayne Carmichael. It is important that payment is made prior to departure as we don’t want to carry the cash on the bus. (Your co-operation here would be appreciated, as we need to pay the accommodation bill prior to arrival).

Those not travelling in the bus or staying at the Quest will need to pay $30.00 each toward registration of the teams

_________________________________________

Good luck, Keep in mind that this trip is a costly exercise for the Association. It is important that we all realise we are in a team event representing Sunraysia Table Tennis Association. Get to know your team and support your teammate’s matches as often as possible. Prepare yourself in the right way to be switched on ready to go each day and remember to enjoy your Table Tennis and have a great weekend
