It is with a heavy heart that i write this post.
Tragically our friend Sam Hensgen passed away last Thursday.
Our table tennis family has had a rough time over the past 18 months and to lose Sam at the age of 20 shows that life can be unfair at times.
He was a person having a real go in life and good fun to be around at table tennis. His ability with the Rubik’s cube was outstanding and his jibes about the grading committee getting it wrong was always a fun discussion. On the table he gave his all and was a good team mate to many over the years.
I’m sure all the table tennis community would join me in conveying our sympathy to Michael and Ryan as well as Mick and Kim and Peter along with the remainder of Sam’s family.
Rest in peace Sam ……
