Sunraysia Table Tennis 2025 Winter Pennant results Grand Finals: –
PENNANT ONE:
– Weightmans Packaging 6 (Shannon Bowen 2, Reece Kurrle, Lee Leeson 1) d Regional Taxation Services 4 (Kate Carmichael 3, Jamie Kealley 1)
Maybe decided in the first game when Lee recovered from 0-2 against Thahn , she was also down 3-7 in the fifth.
Jamie had a great five set win over Reece to keep his team alive.
Kate recovered from 0-2 against Shannon to win in 5 a great match to keep the team alive as well..
Two doubles to Weightmans was crucial and they have played well to win the premiership.
PENNANT TWO:
– Cookes Pools & Spas 6 (Quentin Clark, Duy Truong 2) d Mallee Meats 2 (Jason Gifkins, Peter Midgley 2)
Amazing 5 five setters in six matches and all won by the same team , what an effort by Q, Duy and Michael.
Cookes also won both doubles both in five of course.
PENNANT THREE:
– Exposed Signage/Apparel 6 (Deegan Kerslake 3, Karly Leach 1) d Weightmans Packaging 4 (Nhat Dat 2, Steve Parker, Leo Parker 1)
Ladder leader Weightmans Packaging started well to lead 2-0 but then Deegan defeated aggregate leader Nat to get Karly’s team on the score board.
Expose , Karly’s team won 5 out of 6 rubbers to take control. Deegan the star of the match defeated Steve to win his third and the premiership 6-4 .
PENNANT FOUR:
– Mallee Meats 6 (Curtis Crabtree 3, Nathan Beard, Conner Burnett 1) d Weightmans Packaging 3 (Glenn Leeson 2)
This was a great effort by third team Mallee Meats to win the premiership.
Curtis finished the season off strongly winning the Super 8’s and 3 singles in the grand final.
Great effort by Gary and Glen to take Curtis to five sets.
A good five set win by Nathan in the first game to defeat Eddy in five.
Five five setters to add to the excitement.

Tankard Dental 6 (Gavin Carmichael 3, Matt Ljubic 2) def Mallee Bearings 4 (Wayne Carmichael 2, Jackson Tung 1)
Thought Tankards may have blown it after having match points in the fourth and fifth of the first doubles …a great match
Great win by Matt and Michael in the second doubles.
The singles game between Matt and Wayne was the match of the night and the standard lifted the longer it went on

MJM Automotive 6 (Dylan Wood 2, Jeremy Corrin, Marcus Cimino 1) d Max Miller Carpets 5 (Paul Kealley 3, Casper McCarthy 2)
Despite Paul and Casper winning 3 and 2 singles respectively it wasn’t enough and MJM won 6-5 , Marcus sealing the deal in the last.
Both doubles went to five and were oh so close and Dylan defeating Casper 13-11 in the fifth was crucial
Dylan has gone back to back….he and Casper are putting pressure on the grading committee…..just saying

Wow what can I say…….Mallee Meats steal victory from jaws of defeat.
After trailing 3-5 with 3 singles to go Mallee Meats win last 3 …….Therese comes back after trailing one game to two against Isaiah after losing the third 0-11
Ryan too steady for Sabrina and then the finals specialist Ben Hosking goes to work , I see it but I dont believe it.
Ben defeats Nick in four after stealing the first two 12-10 after trailing in both. Sensational effort.
